How it Works

At Lauren Rebecca Interiors, we follow a clearly defined, methodical process to ensure every project is thoughtfully planned, accurately documented, and properly executed. Below is a transparent overview of how our design projects typically progress.

Step 1: Initial Consultation

We begin with a consultation (virtual or in-person) to discuss your project objectives, desired outcomes, timeline, and budget parameters. This meeting allows us to assess the scope and determine if the project aligns with our services and current schedule.

Step 2: Proposal & Contract

Following the consultation, a detailed proposal is prepared outlining the project scope, deliverables, timeline, and investment. Upon acceptance, a formal contract and initial deposit are required before design work commences.

Step 3: Design & Planning Phase

This is the primary phase of our engagement. We develop comprehensive design solutions often including:

  • Space planning and functional layouts

  • Cabinetry and millwork design

  • 3D renderings

  • Finish and material specifications

  • Technical construction documents

Two revisions are included. Redesigning the entire layout is considered a scope change and will require a new proposal and additional fees.

Note on Renderings and Decorative Elements: Basic renderings are included as part of the standard scope. One enhanced photorealistic rendering of the final approved design concept is included and includes up to 4 modifications per scene. Additional enhanced photorealistic renderings are available for a fee of $50 per rendered scene and include up to 4 modifications per scene. Additional modifications for any renderings are billed at $10 per change. Services involving decorative elements — including furniture selection, styling, accessory recommendations, and detailed interior styling — are not included in the standard design scope and will be quoted separately.

Step 4: Final Deliverables

Upon completion and approval of the design, all final documents are delivered electronically via a secure link. Deliverables typically include:

  • Final floor plans and elevations

  • Cabinetry and millwork drawings

  • 3D Renderings

  • Finish schedules and material specifications

  • If applicable - Relevant technical notes for contractor bidding and construction

Step 5: Transition to Construction

Once you receive the final design package, you are equipped to move forward with construction. We can seamlessly integrate with your chosen contractor, or we can recommend qualified professionals from our network.

We maintain strong working relationships with trusted vendors, fabricators, and industry professionals who are willing to work alongside any general contractor you select:

  • Premier Custom Cabinetry Fabricator & Installer

  • Don’s Appliance

  • S&P Flooring

  • Easy Closets | Pro Closets

These partners are familiar with our drawings and specifications, which helps ensure accurate pricing and smooth execution, whether you choose to work with them or any other contractor.

Additional Notes

  • Timeline: Project schedules are estimates and subject to change based on workload, project complexity, and client response times.

  • File Storage: Clients are responsible for downloading and securely archiving all final files. Access to project files is available for a limited time after completion.
