Process & Expectations
Lauren Rebecca Interiors maintains a clear, structured, and transparent design process. The information below outlines key policies and procedures to ensure mutual understanding and successful project execution.
Project Contract & Payment Terms
Following the initial consultation and agreement on project scope, a formal contract and invoice will be issued. No design work will begin until the contract is signed and the initial deposit is received.
Payments may be made by check (payable to Lauren Lesniakowski) or electronically via Square.
Specific payment terms, deposit amounts, and schedule will be clearly outlined in the project contract and invoice.
Project Scheduling & Timeline
Project timelines are developed based on current workload, project complexity, and client responsiveness. While every effort is made to meet target dates, all schedules are estimates and subject to change due to the collaborative nature of design work.
Substantial scope changes, additional revisions beyond the agreed allowance, or delays in client feedback may impact the overall timeline and could result in additional fees.
Design Revisions & Scope Changes
Two revisions are included per phase of the project. These revisions cover minor adjustments to the approved designs.
Note: Redesign of an entire layout is not included in the standard revision allowance and will be treated as a scope change, requiring a new proposal and additional design fees.
Substantial modifications to the original program or requests for additional revisions beyond the included allowance will necessitate a change order and may incur supplemental fees.
Final Deliverables & File Access
Upon project completion, the following materials will be delivered electronically via secure shared link:
Final floor plans and layouts
Cabinetry and millwork drawings
3D Renderings
Finish and material specifications
Additional relevant design documentation as applicable
Clients are strongly encouraged to download and securely archive all final files promptly. Files will be available for a limited time following project completion. Long-term storage is the client’s responsibility.
Design Ownership & Usage Rights
Lauren Rebecca Interiors retains full ownership of all original drawings, layouts, renderings, design concepts, and visual materials created during the design process.
Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the final design documents solely for the construction and implementation of their specific project. This license is contingent upon full payment of all project fees.
Lauren Rebecca Interiors reserves the right to use images, renderings, drawings, photography, and design materials from completed projects for portfolio, website, marketing, social media, and promotional purposes. The client may request in writing that their project be excluded from such use, and such requests will be reasonably considered.
